On the verge of international day of people with disabilities, managing director of Nik Afarinan Ghadir ngo congratulate this day to people who has disabilities.
This is our duty to resolve the problem of these angels (girls with disabilities) who live with mandatory restrictions (limitation), Hosein Zajkaniha managing director of NAG ngo stated in an interview with reporter of nika news.
Hosein Zajkaniha said we have 410 girls who were covered by NAG ngo , almost 300 person of these girls are people with severe mental – physical disabilities, over 14 years old , who are kept boarding at Emam Ali rehabilitation complex located at Ozgol region , and almost 110 person of these girls are people with mild mental disabilities (educable ) who are acting daily at Shariati Rehabilitation and training complex in order to rehabilitate and train them .
International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) is an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992. It has been celebrated with varying degrees of success around the planet. The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and being of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life. It was originally called “International Day of Disabled Persons” until 2007. Each year the day focuses on a different issue.
